A Chic & Romantic Wedding at Home | Emmie & Michael's Beautiful Family Celebration

There is something incredibly special about a wedding celebrated at home.

Perhaps it’s the familiarity of the setting, the memories already woven into the walls, or simply the feeling of inviting the people you love most into a place that means everything to you. Whatever it is, Emmie and Michael’s wedding was filled with a warmth and intimacy that could only come from celebrating in such a personal space.

Planned beautifully by Dale Alexander Events and captured by Anna Fowler Photography, their day was the perfect balance of timeless elegance, heartfelt family moments, and unforgettable celebration. Every detail felt intentional, every moment meaningful, and from beginning to end, it was an absolute joy to witness.

The morning began at Carden Park, where both Emmie and Michael prepared for the day ahead surrounded by their closest family and friends. There was an unmistakable sense of excitement in the air as the final touches came together, anticipation building with every passing moment before they made their way to the church.

Adorned with the most exquisite floral installations by Kelly Louise Artistry, the ceremony space felt both grand and deeply romantic. Soft blooms framed every corner, creating the most beautiful setting for Emmie and Michael to exchange their vows.

The ceremony itself was everything a traditional church wedding should be. Emotional, heartfelt, and filled with meaningful moments from beginning to end. There was such a genuine sense of love surrounding the couple as family and friends watched on, sharing in every smile, every tear, and every promise made. I noticed the  guests  in awe as Emmie made her entrance down the long aisle.

One of the most memorable moments came as the newlyweds stepped out of the church as husband and wife. As they emerged into the sunshine, the church bells began ringing overhead while their beautiful children, alongside family and friends, showered them in confetti. It felt like one of those moments that could have been lifted straight from a film.

Following the ceremony, Emmie and Michael spent some time together in the church grounds, soaking in those precious first moments as newlyweds before heading back home to continue the celebrations.

Arriving at their family home, guests were greeted by an atmosphere that felt effortlessly elegant yet wonderfully welcoming. It was immediately clear that every detail had been carefully considered, creating a celebration that felt both luxurious and deeply personal.

Adding to the excitement, guests were treated to a surprise performance by Lemar, a moment that nobody saw coming and one that had everyone completely captivated. The energy was incredible as guests gathered to enjoy the performance, making for one of the many unforgettable highlights throughout the day.

Awaiting everyone was a stunning glass marquee that had been transformed into the most breathtaking reception space. Beautiful draping by Mia Sylvia softened the structure and created an atmosphere that felt romantic, refined, and completely magical. Every corner offered something beautiful to admire. It truly felt like a dream setting and, from a creative perspective, an absolute joy to capture.

As guests took their seats, Emmie and Michael made their entrance to a room filled with cheers, applause, and so much excitement from the people who love them most. The celebrations continued with the cutting of their wedding cake before guests enjoyed a wonderful wedding breakfast accompanied by heartfelt speeches, laughter, and plenty of happy tears.One particularly lovely touch was the individual wedding cakes served as dessert, a detail that felt both thoughtful and beautifully personal.

Before the evening celebrations began, guests gathered outside in the gardens for cocktail hour, enjoying sunshine, conversation, and the couple's signature His and Hers cocktails. Espresso Martinis and Picantes proved to be the perfect choice as everyone relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere before the party got underway.

As the sun began to set, Emmie debuted a stunning second bridal look, bringing a fresh energy to the evening celebrations. What followed was an epic first dance that set the tone perfectly for the rest of the night, quickly drawing guests onto the dance floor to celebrate alongside the newlyweds.

And just when it felt impossible for the day to become any more magical, Emmie and Michael had one final surprise in store.

Guests were invited onto the front lawn where they were treated to the most spectacular fireworks display while Coldplay’s song  ‘A sky full of stars” played in the background. Watching the night sky light up above the family home felt like the perfect ending to such an extraordinary day. A breathtaking finale to a celebration that had been filled with beauty, joy, and unforgettable moments from beginning to end.

The love between Emmie and Michael was evident in every moment, but so too was the love they share with their children, their families, and the incredible community of people surrounding them. There was a genuine sense of togetherness throughout the entire day that made everything feel even more meaningful.

It was elegant, emotional, joyful, and deeply personal. A wedding that perfectly blended luxury with warmth and sophistication with heart.
